We had the pleasure to welcome the CPME 25 and about fifteen of its members on the premises of the FEMTO-ST Institute at TEMIS for them to discover the FC’INNOVFoundation, and a part of its activities within FEMTO Engineering on the TEMIS site.
Laurent Larger, chairman of the board and acting director, presented the foundation and its role in supporting the public service missions of its founding members: the higher education institutions of theUniversité Marie et Louis Pasteur, theEFS and SUPMICROTECH-ENSMM.
Then, a visit on the TEMIS site allowed to concretely illustrate some of the activities of the FEMTO Engineering R&D center, with concrete examples of technologies explored in our Optics, Mechanics, Robotics and Time-Frequencydepartments. Our visitors were able to discover how some world-leading research results are concretely transposed into industrial application contexts with very high innovation potential.
A big thank you to all the participants for their interest in the foundation, and for the enriching exchanges we were able to have. We also thank the CPME 25 for making this visit possible.
